Peter Drucker, the management consultant and writer, famously said “Culture eats strategy for breakfast” which implies that one can have the best strategy in the market but if the team’s culture is not conducive then the project will still fail.
To take this a couple steps further, we could say:
- Breakfast: Culture
- Lunch: Strategy
- Dinner: Scalability
- Dessert: Rinse & repeat
Let me know if you agree on the proposition of dinner (at least in terms of venture bankable and public companies). I hope you all have three wholesome meals and a sweet tooth!
